Summer ranting/ There is no Prince Charming

So we come to another summer comes to a close. I hope all are well and ready for a new year, I know I am. Hopefully I'm not the only one who's set goals to change, maybe you want to change your style or perhaps adjust your wardrobe. But whatever the case may be remember that with a new year comes a fresh start. All of last years issues and problems, heck even the old you is gone. Now your a newer version of your passed self, that I'm sure you don't want to go back to, but there might be a nasty ominous creature that you just have to release and that my friend is what this blog is about.

I'm here writing this blog because maybe somewhere in the back of your mind your wonder, "hm, why does she care?" and that's a good question. I care, believe me I really do. And the reason why is because I am a fellow teenager, and let's face we all need to stick together. But I'm not here to bore you with a long list of details of why I think you should listen to me, I am merely here posting this as a way to allow you to rant and rave about the bull**** that went on last year that you might be harboring.

Because I know I am!

So, here I go, I give you a gist and move on:
It's your normal June day, and I'm hanging with my three best friends (who I shall call in this blog Knucklehead, Showtime, and Jay) outside in front of our school eating lunch. Know I know what your thinking now, "what the hell is wrong with that?" Well let me tell you the story gets way better. So I get a text message from my former best friend (who will be known as Lil red) say that she feels terrible about something she did to me, and sitting next to Knucklehead who's also reading the text with a questioning look lingering on her face. Just after Lil red send other saying she broke the code of sister hood or some weird mess like that, so I finally give in and ask what she's talking about. BIG MISTAKE, I would have been better off not knowing, because she text me about four text saying how she's been talking to my boyfriend behind my back and a few days ago they confessed their true feelings for one another.

Now, before you click off this blog thinking it has no relation to you and that I'm being a big ass-cry baby for even writing about this, and that it will probably amount to absolutely nothing. Please continue reading...

So, I'm thinking, nah she's just joking. But then she sends about ten more text attempting an apology. Knucklehead looks at me pissed as hell screaming and ranting because Lil red (who she's met: I introduced them and we all went shopping together.) was all giggly-best friendly with me no longer than three days ago but then she turns around and hooks up with my "boyfriend"? Showtime, and Jay are also upset just not on the same level as Knucklehead.

After about the twentieth text message I stop replying to her, and decide to confront my boyfriend, (who I'm not even going to make up a name for because he pisses me off far too much) I call him up, asking what the hell is going on between him and Lil red, and to be honest I could careless if they hooked up, I mean no big I ain't gonna trip over no boy, but the thing that pissed me off is that they (as in both of them) could have been up front with me. Especially since he is suppose to be my boy, right?

After all this shit happened he calls me up with this long-ass sob story saying he ain't been himself lately and I should give him another chance cuz' he wants me in his life, and that he might love me...BULL and so I merely respond "your dead to me, so do whateva the hell you want."

Since that day he's tried to talk to me asking if maybe there's some chance we can still be friends, I decline of course, because there can't be a friendship without trust and quite frankly I don't trust the dog. So I stopped answering calls and texts. And know your wondering, "well, what happened next?"

Well, I'll tell you he started relaying this message through his younger sister (who I might add ain't even in middle school yet) that he really wants to talk to me and he feels horrible...blah blah blah, and even though I like her, sometimes more than my own siblings *cough* I tell her not to give me any more of his crappy apologies. And I haven't heard from him since than. Now, what happened to Lil red? Well we made up (sort of), but we're not as close as we used to be. I barely talk to her now, and I think it's for the better, we'd been best friends since seventh grade and it was time to move on and meet new people. *shrugs* go figure.

So, what has this experience taught me?
1. Sometimes even your best-friend (who you think has yo back) can't be trusted.
2. Yo boy, no matter who they are: all have a cheatin'-side but it's up to them how they use it.
3. Expect the unexpected, because the impossible can become possible.
4. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," Stronger by Kanye West

More from me soon,

Blu Chip!

P.S leave all the rants you want, I would love to read them. You can use code-names or tell the story straight up, the choice is yours! :D
